This guide will show how to use the ServingIntel Cloud Control platform. Run through the steps below to get started!
Overview
ServingIntel Cloud Control is a cloud-based platform that provides a complete solution for Sales Item Management, Loyalty Management and Team Member Management.
Pre-Requisites
Before using this guide, the following should be met first:
1) Any of the following roles should be granted to the user or fulfilled first before using ServingIntel Cloud Control:
a. Store Admin
b. Store User
2) Login credentials are given.

Tip Handling Report (Tips Report)

New Feature: Tip Handling Report (Tips Report)
Version: 2025.1.3 introduces the Tip Handling Report, making it easier to track and manage employee tips. This report provides a clear overview of tip amounts across selected date ranges.
Key features include:
- Clear Summary: At minimum, shows employee names and the tips they earned, keeping it straightforward and user-friendly.
- New Submenu Location: Found under Employee Reports as “CC Tips” for easy navigation.
- Employee-Focused Report: Displays tips earned by each employee within the selected date range.
- Credit Card Tips Overview: Focuses specifically on tips received through credit card payments.
- Detailed Breakdown:
- Employee name and total tips earned.
- Total sales (excluding additional charges or finance fees).
- Credit card sales and the tips associated with them.
- Percentage of credit card tips compared to credit card sales for better insight.
- Clear Summary: At minimum, shows employee names and the tips they earned, keeping it straightforward and user-friendly.


New Feature (Version 2025.1.5): Tips Report – Gratuity
The Gratuity column is now added to the Tips Report, appearing right after Tips. This update ensures gratuity details are included across multiple views and export options.
- Available in Show/Hide Columns, GridView, Export to PDF, and Export to Excel.
How to Access:
Open the Tips Report under Reports, and you’ll see the Gratuity column after Tips. You can also customize the view or export the report as a PDF or Excel file.


Enhancement (Version 2025.1.6): Tips Report – Additional Changes
The Tips Report has been updated to provide more accurate sales data. The Sale.GratuityAmount is now included in the report. Additionally, the Sales Date now appears first, followed by the Employee Name. The “Tips” column is now labelled “Total Tips,” and the Hour Rate, CC Sales, and CC Tips columns have been removed for a cleaner view.
- Available in Show/Hide Columns, GridView, Export to PDF, and Export to Excel.

Enhancement (Version 2025.2.3): Tips Report – Additional Changes
This update introduces layout and labelling adjustments to the Tips Report to improve readability and relevance.
- Sales Date now appears as the first column, before Employee Name.
- The “Tips” column has been renamed to “Total Tips”.
- Hour Rate, CC Sales, and CC Tips columns have been removed for a cleaner report view.
These changes help streamline the report and focus on essential tip-related data.
