This guide will show how to use the ServingIntel Cloud Control platform. Run through the steps below to get started!

Overview


ServingIntel Cloud Control is a cloud-based platform that provides a complete solution for Sales Item Management, Loyalty Management and Team Member Management.

Pre-Requisites

Before using this guide, the following should be met first:

1) Any of the following roles should be granted to the user or fulfilled first before using ServingIntel Cloud Control:

a. Store Admin
b. Store User

2) Login credentials are given.

3) The following system applications and requirements are installed:

1. Under Site Settings, go to System Settings > Payments.

2. Click Add Payment to enter new payment details. Then fill in necessary fields:

  • Payment Type
    Payment Type defines how a transaction is settled, such as through cash, credit card, or other methods.
  • Forgive Tax
    Forgive Tax allows waiving specific taxes, like Food Tax or Alcohol Tax, in cases of exemptions or special situations.
  • Payment Function
    Payment Function refers to the various methods for completing a payment, such as cash, card, AR account, direct billing, or gift card.

After, click Save Payment.

3. To modify existing payment type, click the Grid View > edit button.

4. Update necessary details, then click Update Payment.

With the recent update, a new functionality called Loyalty has been added under Payment Function.

  • Loyalty: A feature that enables the redemption of points for rewards.

Also, the AR Account (Customer Account) function has been renamed to Meal Plan.

Enhancement (Version 2025.1.6): Payments – Additional Changes

The Payments section has been updated to improve functionality. The “Select Security” option is now renamed to “Select Payment Function.” A new “Allow Tips” checkbox has been added, allowing users to enable or disable tip acceptance per payment method.

Enhancement (Version 2025.2): Payments – Autoflow Tab Improvements

The Autoflow tab under the Payments section has been updated to enhance clarity and usability.

  • “Other” has been renamed to “Create a new Group Discount Name” for better context.
  • The Meal Plan format has been adjusted to display in a single-column layout, making selection easier and more organized.

Steps to Access:

  • Go to Site Settings.
  • Go to Payments.
  • Add New Payments.
  • Under the Autoflow tab, “Create a new Group Discount Name” is now available.
  • Meal Plan format now appears in a single column.

Enhancement (Version 2025.4.1): Autoflow Feature

The Autoflow feature in Payments streamlines how revenue centers are managed during the Add or Update Payment process. It replaces the previous Group Discount controls with a new multi-select Revenue Center option, allowing you to assign payments to one or more revenue centers directly.

1. Under Site Settings, go to System Settings > Payments.

2. Open the Add Payment section and click the Autoflow tab.

3. You now have the ability to select all revenue centers simultaneously.
