1. Under the SIC Menu, go to Menu Item Information.

2. Select a meal plan and click the edit button.

3. Review the Tax Flag options for Food and Alcohol.

Note:

Items with Enable Meal Points checked determine how taxes are applied to the rest of the sale. Once tagged as meal types, the tax behavior is driven by the selected tax flag. Choose the appropriate tax flag for the meal type, and all associated sales will be taxed accordingly.

4. Update to save the changes.
