Setup and Installation:

Hardware Connection 

  1. Connect the AC power cord to the power supply and DC cord to the printer. 
  2. Connect the printer to your computer, POS terminal, or tablet. 
  3. Connect the cash drawer (if applicable). 

Paper Roll and Ribbon Loading: 

  1. Turn on the printer and open the top cover. 
  2. Insert the paper roll into the slot. The printer will feed paper automatically. 
  3. Tear off excess paper and close the cover. 
  4. Open the front cover, turn the ribbon box knob 5–6 times, and insert the ribbon. 
  5. Push the ribbon box until it locks in place. 

Driver Installation (Windows OS):

  1. Insert the driver CD or download the driver. 
  2. Double-click the driver setup file. 
  3. Accept the license agreement. 
  4. Select the default installation folder. 
  5. Follow on-screen prompts to complete installation. 
  6. Select the correct port (USB, LAN, Serial, or Parallel). 
  7. Choose the correct series from the list. 
  8. Click OK to configure the port. 
  9. Select the detected USB001 (or applicable port) and click Apply
  10. Print a test page to confirm installation. 

Alternative Method: 
Printing can also be done directly via port without installing a driver. Simply configure the correct port in your POS software. ESC/POS commands must be supported by the software. 

Self-Test 

To print a self-test page: 

  1. Ensure the printer is powered off. 
  2. Hold down the FEED button. 
  3. Power on the printer while holding FEED for 2 seconds. 
  4. Release FEED. A test page will print showing current printer settings. 

Troubleshooting:

Issue 1: Indicator lights not working 

  • Check if the power cord is connected securely. 
  • Verify the power outlet is working. 

Issue 2: Status light flashing, printer not working 

  • Turn off and check for paper jams. 
  • If printing head is overheated, allow it to cool before resuming. 
  • Restart after 10 minutes. If unresolved, contact service. 

Issue 3: Status light solid, printer not printing 

  • Run a self-test page to confirm printer operation. 
  • Verify connections between printer and computer. 
  • Check if port settings in software match printer interface. 
  • If issue persists, contact service technician.
